Max's Arrival

It's 3:43 in the morning on April 22nd and I can't seem to sleep because we're having Max today. I have a C-section scheduled for 2:00 and we'll be arriving at the hospital at 12 for all the preparations. I'm nervous and anxious, but also excited to finally meet him! We'll post pictures soon!

It's a BOY!!!!

Joseph and I had been anxious for this day to arrive for five weeks and we were so excited to get the news that we're having a baby boy. Going in I don't think either of us knew what to expect. For some reason I had a feeling it was a girl and Joseph just kept his fingers crossed it was a boy.

One of the best moments of my life was looking up at Joseph when they told us it was a boy and seeing the expression on his face.

16 Weeks

This week Baby X says....

"Watch what you say... tiny bones are forming in my ears, which means I can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. Soon mom will be able to feel me move! Right now I'm about the size of an avocado."

Baby on the Way

This is a picture of the newest member of the Ferrell family. Joseph likes to call "him" baby X...I wasn't fond of that name at first, but it seems to be catching on. I'm sure it will be a funny story one day when our kid ask us what we called him/her while I was pregnant.
