Happy 1st Birthday Max!!

I was worried that Max wouldn't eat the cake because he's never really been big on sweet foods, but I had nothing to be worried about! He dug right into the cake and loved it!

Aunt Melanie made this amazing cake for Max's 1st birthday party to go with the theme "I dig being 1".

Discovered the Pots & Pans

Max has opened almost all the cabinets in the house, but for some reason he hadn't found the ones in our kitchen (probably because he's more interested in the dog's water bowel). This week he finally discovered the kitchen cabinets and was thrilled to find the pots and pans! How can you deny a face like this?

My Girlfriend Isabella

Max was very interested in Isabella's hair (probably because she has a lot more than him). We're going to have to teach him that it's not cool to mess with a girl's hair. We're so grateful to have great friends like Billy and Janelle in our lives!

What??!

While I was getting dressed my little man got very quiet, which usually means he's getting into something. I knew he wasn't far and I found him in the bathroom behind the shower curtain, the only thing I could see were his feet. I ran to get the camera and I came back he heard me and peeked around the corner. I love moments like this when you can catch them learning and discovering new things. He definitely likes the shower curtain. You can tell by the next two pictures....he wanted to pull it everywhere he went.

I had to post this picture because I love it! He's such a sweet, happy baby. How could you not fall in love with this face more and more every day!!

Need a New Toy Box

Our current toy box is a laundry basket, we are in definite need of something a little sturdier! Max had his eye on something and he was going to get it even if it meant taking a dive into the basket. He often reaches down where his feet come off the ground, but this was the first time he's actually fallen in.

My best friend Daisy

Max loves playing with Daisy! Pops & Nana gave Daisy a green football for Christmas, but Max has adopted the football, not to Daisy's liking. When he squeezes the toy it make an irritating noise and it drives Daisy crazy! She has started taking all her toys outside and I think it's so Max can't get to them. Sorry Daisy you're not the baby anymore!
